Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Boros Equipment aggro strategy commanded by Nahiri, Forged in Fury. The game plan revolves around flooding the board with low-cost Equipment, Living Weapon artifacts, and 'For Mirrodin!' tokens in the opening turns. This early artifact density drastically reduces Nahiri's casting cost through Affinity. Once deployed, Nahiri converts combat attacks with equipped creatures into free impulse casts, turning combat pressure into overwhelming card advantage and free board state growth. Free equip engines like Puresteel Paladin, Ardenn, Intrepid Archaeologist, and Bruenor Battlehammer bypass high equip costs on powerhouse cards like Colossus Hammer, Excalibur, Sword of Eden, and Argentum Armor. Win conditions center on aggressive combat eliminations bolstered by double strike, trample, and extra combat phases from Hexplate Wallbreaker, while protective artifacts and phasing tools safeguard against opposing interaction.
