Y'shtola by AigleFess

Format: Commander

Commander: Y'shtola, Night's Blessed

Bracket: 5

Deck overview

This is a tuned Esper combo-control deck that uses Y'shtola, Night's Blessed as its value engine while the real wins live in the 99. Y'shtola turns every 3+ mana-value noncreature spell into 2 damage to each opponent and 6 life gained, which both triggers her own end-step draw ("a player lost 4 or more life this turn") and acts as the fuse for the Sanguine Bond/Exquisite Blood drain loops. Primary kill: Thassa's Oracle with either Demonic Consultation or Tainted Pact - the list is fully singleton, so Pact exiles the entire library. Backup kill: the redundant drain pairs (Sanguine Bond/Enduring Tenacity plus Exquisite Blood/Bloodthirsty Conqueror), any combination of one from each pile looping infinitely on any life-loss or life-gain event. Ad Nauseam, Necropotence, Rhystic Study, and Mystic Remora fuel the cheap 2.07-MV shell, while free counterspells and Silence/Grand Abolisher protect the combo turn.
