Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Izzet spellslinger and combo strategy built around Vivi Ornitier. The primary game plan focuses on casting low-cost cantrips, cost reducers, and rituals to grow Vivi with +1/+1 counters, pinging each opponent for each noncreature cast. By attaching damage-trigger card draw auras like Curiosity or Ophidian Eye, every spell cast draws three fresh cards, fueling an explosive same-turn storm kill that burns the table to zero life. Vivi's activated mana ability converts accumulated power directly into U/R mana, solving color and mana constraints during storm turns. As an alternate win condition, the deck features the compact Dualcaster Mage and Twinflame infinite token combo, fully searchable via Spellseeker and Mystical Tutor. A dense package of low-cost countermagic and protection spells shields the commander during critical setup and combo turns.
