Deck overview

This is a Boros Dwarf-tribal Equipment deck helmed by Dain of the Ancient Halls, a haste commander whose attack trigger deals damage equal to your Dwarf count to each opponent. The plan is to flood the board with cheap Dwarves and Equipment, then convert Dain's trigger into a table-wide finisher through double strike (Reyav, Master Smith, Dain Ironfoot, Mjolnir, Hammer of Thor), trigger doubling (Bifur, Melodic Rider, Roaming Throne), and extra combat phases (Aggravated Assault). The "Storied" mechanic rewards the deck's natural density of artifacts and legendary permanents with enduring-story bonuses. Treasure generation is a secondary engine - Magda, Brazen Outlaw, Thorin, King of Durin's Folk, The Reaver Cleaver - feeding Mana Echoes and the Balin, Loremaster drain. The deck plays as a resilient combat deck with several combo-adjacent lines living entirely in the 99.
