Deck overview

Thranduil, the Elvenking is a Sultai elfball deck that accelerates with mana dorks and token generators, using the commander as a reusable draw engine and as a graveyard-powered toolbox: any Elf in the graveyard donates its activated abilities to Thranduil. The primary plan is to build an overwhelming board of Elves, then close with Craterhoof, Ezuri, or Tyvar pumps. A compact secondary line uses Ashaya plus Quirion Ranger with a big tap-elf such as Elvish Archdruid to generate infinite mana and infinite cast triggers, drawing the deck and finishing with Lathril's activated ability or Exsanguinate/Torment. Lathril acts as a functional hidden commander, because her activated ability becomes the cleanest win once she is in the graveyard.
