Format: Commander

Commander: Thorin, King of Durin's Folk

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Thorin, King of Durin's Folk leads a Dwarven war machine that converts every Dwarf ETB into Treasure, then converts those Treasures into both pump for the Dwarf squad and fuel for a large mana kill. The main game plan is a wide, artificially inflated combat swing, with Magda's tap triggers generating even more Treasures mid-combat. Secondary paths use Magda to tutor Hellkite Tyrant or Goldspan Dragon, Xorn and Goldspan to magnify mana, and extra combat effects to take out all opponents in one turn. The commander is both a value engine and a multiplier, and the deck can pivot between aggro and a big mana Crackle with Power finish.
