Deck overview

This Orzhov deck is a specialized Aura-based Voltron and "Goad-Control" strategy helmed by Killian, Decisive Mentor. The primary game plan leverages Killian s ability to goad creatures and draw cards whenever enchanted creatures attack. By utilizing "Impetus" cycles and "Vows," the deck forces opponents to eliminate each other while providing Killian with card flow. Simultaneously, the deck builds a massive threat using power-multipliers like All That Glitters and Sage's Reverie. Killian s secondary version, Killian, Ink Duelist, is included in the 99 to provide massive mana discounts on Auras, allowing for explosive turns. The deck wins through overwhelming commander damage, life drain via Eriette of the Charmed Apple, or wide boards generated by Sigil of the Empty Throne and Archon of Sun's Grace. It excels at neutralizing threats without destroying them, keeping the board state chaotic for opponents while remaining safe behind Ghostly Prison and Inkshield.
