Commander: Director Nick Fury

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Jeskai Hero-tribal combat deck built around Director Nick Fury as a cost reducer and attack-triggered card-advantage engine. The primary plan is to deploy a critical mass of Heroes, use attack triggers to keep the hand full, and then convert a wide, modified board into a lethal swing with tribal anthems, extra combats, and Akroma's Will. There are no infinite combos in the list; the deck wins through layered combat math, +1/+1 counters, equipment like Biorganic Carapace, and token bursts from Champions from Beyond. The commander is important but not the sole engine-the 99 is packed with self-contained Hero synergies, though losing Nick's cost reduction and attack-filtering noticeably slows the curve.
