Lathril Elves by user7644672

Commander: Lathril, Blade of the Elves

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Lathril, Blade of the Elves leads a classic Golgari Elf-ball deck that turns a wide token swarm into a repeatable life-drain combo. The primary plan is to connect with Lathril early, amass dozens of Elf tokens using lords and token engines, then activate her to make each opponent lose 10 life repeatedly. Seedborn Muse is the hidden engine: once out, Lathril's drain can fire on every turn of the rotation. Secondary wins come from an unblockable/gigantic combat step via Beastmaster Ascension, Overrun, or Eldrazi Monument. Heavy instant-speed protection keeps the swarm alive through wipes, while Poison-Tip Archer and Elderfang Venom drain in the background. Without Lathril, the deck functions but remarkably slower.
