Deck overview

This Naya deck is an aggressive, high-tempo Equipment Voltron build centered on Cloud, Ex-SOLDIER. The strategy relies on deploying low-cost acceleration and premier Equipment tutors during the opening turns to put lethal weapons like Colossus Hammer onto the battlefield. Casting Cloud on turn 4 bypasses equip costs entirely via its enter-the-battlefield trigger, allowing Cloud to attack immediately with haste, draw cards, and create Treasure tokens. The deck supports this aggressive clock with an exceptional suite of free and low-mana protection spells, such as Clever Concealment, Deflecting Swat, and Flawless Maneuver, which shield your board from sweepers and targeted removal. Secondary threats like Karlach, Fury of Avernus and Tifa, Martial Artist provide extra combat steps that accelerate player eliminations, while redundant enablers like Ardenn, Intrepid Archaeologist and Puresteel Paladin ensure the deck functions smoothly even if the commander is contested.
