Deck overview

This deck is a Dimir artifact-centric midrange strategy commanded by Golbez, Crystal Collector. Golbez turns every entering artifact into library filtration via surveil, binning expensive creatures while digging for resources. Once the deck controls four artifacts, Golbez creates a steady recursion loop, returning milled creatures to hand each end step. Reaching eight artifacts weaponizes Golbez, draining each opponent for life equal to the returned creature's power—most notably 9 life with Yargle, Glutton of Urborg, Bygone Colossus, or Krang, Utrom Warlord. Supported by artifact token generators like Academy Manufactor and equipment, the deck establishes an unblockable or evasive board presence while burning the table. It operates primarily at sorcery speed, leaning on board resilience and recurring value over fast combo finishes.
