Format: Commander

Commander: Taii Wakeen, Perfect Shot

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Boros deck is built around Taii Wakeen as a scalable noncombat damage amplifier. The primary plan uses one-mana red pings plus damage-trigger permanents such as Guttersnipe, Fiery Inscription, and Erebor Flamesmith; Taii's X ability turns a few spells into 40-damage kills. A compact infinite-mana line with Basalt Monolith and Zirda the Dawnwaker provides an alternate, faster finish once Taii is online. Ojer Axonil functions as a hidden commander, raising the floor of red noncombat damage. The deck packs cheap cantrips and two tutors to assemble its pieces and a small protection package to survive the critical turn.
