Commander: Grenzo, Dungeon Warden

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This Rakdos deck is helmed by Grenzo, Dungeon Warden, a commander that specializes in cheating creatures onto the battlefield from the bottom of the library. The core strategy revolves around manipulating the bottom of the library through scrying, cards placed there directly, and self-mill, then activating Grenzo's ability to put that card into the graveyard - and if it's a creature with power Grenzo's power, it enters the battlefield. The deck runs a suite of high-impact, medium-to-high-cost creatures (Etali, Primal Storm, Valgavoth, Terror Eater, Rune-Scarred Demon, Massacre Wurm) that can be cheated into play ahead of curve, then win through combat damage, ETB triggers, or a massive Chandra's Ignition. A secondary value engine uses Daretti, Scrap Savant and recursion pieces to grind out advantage. There are no infinite combos; victory comes from overwhelming board presence and incremental value.
