Deck overview

This deck leverages Spider-Man 2099 as an aggressive Voltron and burn commander within an Izzet shell. Because the commander cannot be cast during the first three turns of the game, early turns are dedicated to establishing mana rocks, assembling equipment, and setting up impulse draw or graveyard flashback engines. Once deployed on Turn 4, the deck triggers the commander's end-step damage ability by playing lands and casting spells from exile or the graveyard. Equipment like Hero's Blade, Nettlecyst, and Hulkbuster Armor scales the commander's base double strike combat damage into lethal territory while amplifying his end-step burn. Supported by strong reactive counterspells, targeted removal, and defensive utility lands like Swarmyard, the deck systematically eliminates opponents one by one while maintaining card advantage through continuous exile-casting engines.
