Deck overview

This is a Selesnya tokens-and-lifegain deck helmed by Trostani, Selesnya's Voice, built around a dense web of redundant lifegain triggers, token generation, and populate effects. The plan is to accrue life and a wide board simultaneously, then convert that advantage into a finishing blow through Craterhoof Behemoth, a big Finale of Devastation, Soul of Eternity's Encore, Aetherflux Reservoir, or the Halo Fountain alternate win. Trostani herself is one of many lifegain engines - the deck is deliberately redundant so it functions without her. The primary win is combat overrun backed by a massive life total; secondary wins are the Reservoir and Halo Fountain. It is a classic midrange value deck that wins through inevitability rather than combo.
