Deck overview

This deck is an Esper combo-control strategy commanded by Queza, Augur of Agonies. It converts card draw directly into life gain and targeted life drain, weaponizing symmetrical draw effects and massive card advantage engines. The early game focuses on developing mana through rocks like Sol Ring and Arcane Signet while establishing passive card flow via Rhystic Study, Ledger Shredder, and The One Ring. In the mid-game, the deck uses draw-punishing attrition pieces like Sheoldred, the Apocalypse, Orcish Bowmasters, and Teferi's Puzzle Box to chip away at opposing life totals while sculpting its hand. The deck reliably closes the game on Turn 6 through several compact win conditions, including casting Peer into the Abyss with Queza on the board, assembling the infinite drain loop of Exquisite Blood and Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, or resolving Thassa's Oracle alongside Demonic Consultation behind the protection of Grand Abolisher.
