Deck overview

This deck is a Temur Voltron and Token Swarm strategy centered on Xyris, the Writhing Storm. The primary game plan accelerates mana in the first three turns, deploys Xyris on Turn 4, and attacks on Turn 5. By casting low cost pump spells like Become Immense, Invigorate, and Tifa's Limit Break before combat damage resolves, the deck amplifies Xyris's damage output to draw a massive grip of cards and generate an army of 1/1 Snake tokens. A dense suite of 1 mana protection spells such as Tamiyo's Safekeeping and Blossoming Defense ensures Xyris survives enemy interaction. Once the token army is assembled and the hand is refilled with interaction, the deck overwhelms the table with wide combat attacks over the following two turns to achieve victory.
