Kess: Slinger PingerD by Leaguetricks

Format: Commander

Commander: Kess, Dissident Mage

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Kess, Dissident Mage headlines a Grixis spellslinger deck focused on chaining cheap instants and sorceries to burn down the table. By pairing efficient cantrips and mana rituals with spell-trigger creatures like Guttersnipe, Vivi Ornitier, and Black Waltz No. 3, the deck steadily drains opposing life totals while sculpting an overwhelming hand. Kess provides repeatable graveyard access on every turn, effectively doubling the value of removal, card draw, and rituals. The deck culminates in an explosive storm turn powered by Past in Flames and Storm-Kiln Artist, finishing opponents through massive Aetherflux Reservoir activations, Grapeshot volleys, or a lethal Torment of Hailfire.
