Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Gruul combat engine commanded by Anzrag, the Quake-Mole. The strategy accelerates mana on early turns using efficient dorks and land ramp to deploy Anzrag ahead of curve on Turn 3. On Turn 4, the deck equips protection or power multipliers like Dolmen Gate, Mithril Coat, or Xenagos, God of Revels, then attacks into opposing boards. When opponents block Anzrag, its triggered ability untaps all attacking creatures and grants extra combat phases, clearing blockers and threatening lethal commander damage.
