Deck overview

Quintorius, History Chaser helms a Boros midrange strategy that converts graveyard activity into an aggressive Spirit token army. The deck leverages looting, self-milling, flashback spells, and reanimation to repeatedly trigger Quintorius's passive ability, creating 3/2 red and white Spirit tokens. Early turns focus on mana development through artifacts and rummaging effects like Faithless Looting and Currency Converter. Once the commander enters on Turn 4, its +1 loyalty ability fuels hand quality while loading the graveyard. Mid-game turns establish board presence through recursive threats like Phlage, Titan of Fire's Fury, Excava, the Risen Past, and Sun Titan. The deck transitions into a lethal clock around Turn 6 by utilizing Quintorius's -4 ability to give all Spirits double strike and vigilance, or resolving Moonshaker Cavalry for an evasive team pump. Robust reanimation redundancy ensures resilient recovery against single-target interaction, though the strategy remains vulnerable to instant-speed graveyard exile and stack-based combos.
