Deck overview

This deck is a mono-white stax and combo strategy commanded by Delney, Streetwise Lookout. It establishes early board control through dense, asymmetric hatebears such as Drannith Magistrate, Archon of Emeria, and Thalia, Guardian of Thraben. Delney doubles all triggered abilities from creatures with power 2 or less, turning modest utility creatures like Spirited Companion, Skyclave Apparition, and Wall of Omens into compounding card advantage and removal engines. While opponents are slowed down by spell-casting limits and tax effects, the deck searches for its primary two-card infinite combo: Heliod, Sun-Crowned and Walking Ballista. Granting Ballista lifelink triggers Heliod's counter ability on every damage ping, allowing an immediate infinite-damage table kill. Alternatively, the deck can assemble an infinite blink loop with Preston, the Vanisher and Felidar Guardian or close games through combat with Akroma's Will. Robust zero- and low-cost protection spells ensure the combo resolves safely through opposing disruption.
