Deck overview

Sephiroth is a mono-black aristocrats-combo deck. The front face is the main engine: every enters/attack sacrifice draws a card, and every other death triggers a one-life drain that quickly flips to a permanent emblem. The deck's core is a set of recursive sacrifice loops-Phyrexian Altar plus Gravecrawler and Carrion Feeder, or Warren Soultrader plus Pitiless Plunderer and Reassembling Skeleton-that make infinite death triggers with Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, Bastion of Remembrance, or The Meathook Massacre. The back face serves as a backup evasive beater and a second source of draw/drain once transformed. Tutors and cheap reanimation make the combo highly searchable and recoverable.
