Deck overview

This Dimir deck pairs the high-velocity card advantage of Talion, the Kindly Lord with a compact Thassa's Oracle and Demonic Consultation combo finish. Powered by premier fast mana like Mana Crypt, Sol Ring, and Chrome Mox, the deck can establish an early board presence and deploy Talion on Turn 2. Naming common mana values such as 2 ensures steady card draw and chip damage as opponents cast spells. A robust tutor suite quickly locates Thassa's Oracle and Demonic Consultation to threaten a game-ending stack trigger as early as Turn 3. Free countermagic including Force of Will and Pact of Negation shields the combo attempt from opposing disruption. If the game extends, asymmetric draw denial from Notion Thief and Narset, Parter of Veils combines with Windfall or attrition cards like Psychosis Crawler and Underworld Dreams to maintain control until a win line or Doomsday pile resolves.
