Deck overview

Galea, Kindler of Hope leads an aggressive Bant Voltron and equipment-enchantment synergy deck. The strategy accelerates in the opening turns with ramp and cost-reducers, then deploys Galea to look at and cast Auras and Equipment directly from the top of the library. Galea bypasses equip costs on topdeck casts by automatically attaching equipment upon entry, rapidly assembling massive combat threats like Colossus Hammer, Kaldra Compleat, and Excalibur, Sword of Eden. Redundant cheat enablers such as Sigarda's Aid, Forge Anew, and Puresteel Paladin ensure equipment attaches freely even when drawn into hand. Combat evasion and heavy protection—including Mithril Coat, Shadowspear, Winged Boots, and Sheltered by Ghosts—keep the primary attacker resilient against removal. While the deck lacks instant infinite combos, it delivers rapid commander-damage eliminations starting around turn 5, knocking out opponents in succession across two subsequent turn cycles while maintaining strong card advantage and board recovery.
