Commander: Snapdax, Apex of the Hunt

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Snapdax, Apex of the Hunt is a Mardu mutate-voltron commander who turns a single non-Human creature into a double-striking removal engine. The deck ramps to the five-mana mutate cost, then layers equipment and auras such as Hammer of Nazahn, The Reaver Cleaver, and Eldrazi Conscription until the pile has at least six power. Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar spreads that commander damage to every opponent, while Port Razer or Grim Reaper's Sprint provides the extra combat needed to take out the table in one turn. Secondary lines use the other mutate creatures as spot removal, Sunforger as an instant-speed tutor, and treasure acceleration from Descent into Avernus or The Reaver Cleaver. Snapdax is the only commander; there is no hidden commander.
