Deck overview

This Dimir deck uses Lord of the Nazgul as an instant and sorcery engine. The primary plan is to cast the Lord, then chain cheap instants and sorceries to create 3/3 menace Wraiths. When you control nine or more Wraiths, they become 9/9s for a lethal menace attack. The secondary path is Nazgul tribal: nine copies of Nazgul trigger the Ring tempts you and put +1/+1 counters on all Wraiths, growing the board without the 9/9 trigger. The Lord is the main token maker and anthem, not a combo piece. Roaming Throne and Sakashima of a Thousand Faces act as hidden commanders by doubling the Lord's trigger and copying key Wraiths.
