Deck overview

This deck leverages Sonic the Hedgehog as an aggressive tempo commander that turns haste and flash creatures into steadily scaling threats. By attacking each turn, Sonic places +1/+1 counters on the entire team, rapidly increasing power and toughness while generating incidental Treasure tokens whenever creatures take damage. The game plan focuses on deploying efficient low-curve creatures, swinging early, and translating +1/+1 counters into unblockable or flying damage with cards like Herald of Secret Streams and Abzan Falconer. An extensive suite of low-cost counterspells and removal provides cover against opposing interaction and combo attempts. While vulnerable to repeated sweepers and lacking fast combo finishes, the deck applies reliable combat pressure backed by high-synergy tempo answers.
