Deck overview

This Gruul stompy deck is built around Hulk, Gamma Goliath and harnesses the Power-up mechanic to grow an overwhelming board of trampling creatures. By utilizing early ramp pieces like Sol Ring, Arcane Signet, and Spider Manifestation, the deck speeds into high-impact beaters ahead of curve. Once Hulk enters, it discounts Power-up abilities across the board, allowing creatures like Goliath, Mass Manipulator and Hercules, Prince of Power to rapidly gain counters and combat keywords. Pressure builds toward a critical Turn 7 onset where large tramplers crash through blockers, supported by efficient fight spells such as HULK SMASH! and Tenderize. While the deck excels at creature combat and direct board presence, it lacks stack interaction and broad protection spells, making it vulnerable to sweepers. It reliably closes tables through honest combat damage by Turn 10.
