Deck overview

This deck is a high-octane mono-red Group Slug list commanded by Daredevil, Fearless Fighter. Daredevil turns symmetric self-harm into asymmetric opponent elimination: whenever you take damage from your own cards, Daredevil redirects that exact amount to an opponent. By weaponizing pain lands, self-pingers, and table-wide slug enchantments like Manabarbs and Spellshock, the deck forces opponents into lethal dilemmas. Damage multipliers like Furnace of Rath, Solphim, Mayhem Dominus, and Fiery Emancipation turn modest self-burn into catastrophic bursts. To prevent dying to its own effects, the deck leverages lifelink equipment such as Shadowspear and Basilisk Collar; when Daredevil redirects damage to an opponent, lifelink restores your life buffer. Supported by heavy-hitting alternate win conditions like Heartless Hidetsugu and Pyrohemia, the deck applies relentless pressure, collapsing the entire table's life totals by Turn 7.
