New Untitled Deck

Format: Commander

Commander: Gandalf, Party Guest

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Jeskai spellslinger deck helmed by Gandalf, Party Guest, who free-casts an instant or sorcery at the start of each combat with mana value up to twice the number of legendary Wizards you control. The 99 runs ten additional legendary Wizards - Kaza, Roil Chaser, Vivi Ornitier, Harmonic Prodigy, Gandalf the White, Gale, Waterdeep Prodigy, and others - to pump that X while doubling as mana engines and trigger doublers. The primary plan is to deploy Wizards, land Gandalf, and chain free-cast spells like Aminatou's Augury and Improvisation Capstone into more spells, closing with Approach of the Second Sun, a massive Storm Herd, or copy-storm chains via Storm of Saruman, Twincast, and Display of Power. World at War adds a second combat to double Gandalf's triggers in a single turn. It is a value-first deck that wins through overwhelming spell velocity rather than a single fast combo.
