Ur-dragon by Wapel

Format: Commander

Commander: The Ur-Dragon

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Five-color Dragon tribal built around The Ur-Dragon's eminence discount. The main plan is to ramp into The Ur-Dragon, then use its attack trigger to draw Dragons and cheat permanents like Atarka, World Render or Utvara Hellkite into play. Secondary plans are a Tiamat/Scion toolbox and extra-combat kills: Hellkite Charger or Aggravated Assault powered by Savage Ventmaw, Goldspan Dragon, Ganax, and Old Gnawbone. The long-game alternate is Call the Spirit Dragons. The deck wins through overwhelming double-striking Dragon combat or infinite combat steps, with Miirym and Roaming Throne multiplying enters triggers. Scion of the Ur-Dragon acts as a hidden commander/tutor within the 99.
