Deck overview

This Azorius deck blends ETB creature blink mechanics with an Ally token go-wide strategy. Led by Aang, Swift Savior, the deck utilizes the airbend mechanic to disrupt opponent spells or re-trigger friendly enter-the-battlefield abilities. Early turns focus on establishing mana rocks and deploying card-drawing creatures such as Wall of Omens and Kindly Customer. By Turn 4, repeatable flicker engines like Soulherder and Teleportation Circle generate compounding card flow and Ally tokens through Appa, Steadfast Guardian and Suki, Courageous Rescuer. The midgame pivots toward establishing overwhelming board presence using massive anthem effects, including Cathars' Crusade and Sokka's Charge, or transforming the commander into Aang and La, Ocean's Fury. The deck protects its board with premium counterspells and free protection like Flawless Maneuver, methodically closing out the game through multi-turn combat steps by Turn 8.
