Deck overview

Calamity, Galloping Inferno leads a mono-red combat deck that turns a saddled creature into two temporary attacking copies. The strongest ordinary setup uses a creature such as Port Razer, Wurmcoil Engine, or Trumpeting Carnosaur, then attacks with Calamity to generate immediate combat pressure. Mana rocks help the deck reach its expensive commander and creatures, while Treasures from Patron of the Arts, Swashbuckler Extraordinaire, Wily Goblin, and Professional Face-Breaker support later turns. Extra-combat cards can increase damage, but most require successful attacks, delirium, exertion, or additional mana. The deck has useful removal and several enters-the-battlefield draw effects, yet it lacks a compact, reliably tutored kill. Its normal game is therefore value-oriented combat pressure rather than competitive combo: establish mana, deploy a strong saddle creature, protect Calamity when possible, and use temporary copies and extra combats to build an advantage.
