Doom Prevails by user5638468

Format: Commander

Commander: Doctor Doom, King of Latveria

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Doctor Doom, King of Latveria leads a Grixis Villain tribal deck built around discard and connive synergies. The primary game plan is to use Doctor Doom, King of Latveria to gradually drain opponents when discarding lands, while deploying a swarm of Villain creatures that connive for card advantage and +1/+1 counters. The deck generates token armies via Endless Ranks of HYDRA, Madame Hydra, and Ultron, Unlimited, then closes out with combat damage boosted by lords like The Squadron Sinister and the free-spell payoff from Glorious Purpose. The commander's role is a value engine that accelerates the drain and provides a repeatable menace ability, but the Tribal shell can function without him due to multiple standalone discard outlets and Villain synergies.
