Format: Commander

Commander: Ekthi, Contaminator Priest

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Ekthi, Contaminator Priest turns every entering Equipment into a Phyrexian Germ, so the deck treats Swords and massive Armor as both creatures and buffs. It then assembles a concentrated, double-striking Germ with Swordsman's Steel, Colossus Hammer, Kaldra Compleat, or Aettir and Priwen, killing one opponent per combat. Sram, Puresteel Paladin, Kili, and Cloud provide card advantage; Stoneforge Mystic and the white tutor package find equipment. Secondary paths include a Phyrexian token/incubate plan with Mondrak, Elspeth, and Elesh Norn. Ardenn is only a value piece in the 99, not a hidden commander. The commander is a multiplier/engine rather than an independent win condition, and the deck remains functional but slower if he is kept off the board.
