Deck overview

This Naya deck focuses on big mana ramp, high-impact creature threats, and tactical board control commanded by Zacama, Primal Calamity. The early game focuses on accelerating mana through land-fetch spells, mana dorks, and artifacts to quickly reach high mana totals. Once at nine mana, casting Zacama completely untaps your lands, effectively making the 9/9 creature free while unlocking repeatable damage, artifact/enchantment destruction, and lifegain. Supporting creatures such as Seedborn Muse turn Zacama into an oppressive machine-gun engine that clears opposing boards on every player's turn. Secondary win conditions include combat overruns via Craterhoof Behemoth, extra combats from Aurelia, the Warleader, and massive beaters like Ghalta, Primal Hunger. Stax elements like Drannith Magistrate and Aven Mindcensor buy time against faster decks until Zacama dominates the board.
