Gruul Dino Fight by user2355844

Format: Commander

Commander: General Marhault Elsdragon

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Gruul dinosaur deck helmed by General Marhault Elsdragon leverages his unique pump-on-block ability to turn a wide board into a lethal force. The primary plan is to deploy cost-reducers and ramp, then force blocks via Lure effects or Anzrag, the Quake-Mole's extra combat trigger, turning each blocked creature into a massive trampler. The deck also packs big beaters like Ghalta, Primal Hunger and Etali, Primal Storm, along with Fling/Thud for direct damage finishers. Secondary win conditions include Chandra's Ignition for a one-sided wipe and Unnatural Growth to double the board's power. Without traditional combos, victory comes through overwhelming combat damage after a single explosive turn.
