Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Rakdos aristocrats combo deck commanded by The Great Goblin. The primary game plan revolves around assembling a three-piece persist combo using Putrid Goblin or Murderous Redcap, a +1/+1 counter enabler such as Metallic Mimic or First Day of Class, and a free sacrifice outlet like Skirk Prospector or Goblin Bombardment. When the persist creature dies and returns, the +1/+1 counter negates the persist -1/-1 counter as a state-based action, allowing infinite sacrifice repetitions. The Great Goblin turns every counter placement into 2 direct damage to an opponent while exiling cards on deaths, closing the game on the spot. Fast mana rituals like Dark Ritual and Culling the Weak power early turns, while Goblin Recruiter can single-handedly stack the entire winning sequence on top of the library. Backed by efficient removal, recursion, and impulse draw, the deck reliably threatens a lethal turn-4 finish.
