Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Vampire tribal aristocrats build commanded by Edgar Markov. It leverages Edgar's eminence ability from the command zone to generate free 1/1 Vampire tokens whenever a Vampire spell is cast. The early game establishes a wide creature presence by chaining efficient one- and two-drop Vampires, quickly filling the board without investing extra mana. In the midgame, the deck pivots into mass-drain payoffs like Sanctum Seeker, Malakir Bloodwitch, and Bloodletter of Aclazotz, or card advantage engines such as Skullclamp and Welcoming Vampire. Opponents face dual pressure from wide combat swings and aristocrat death triggers from Blood Artist and Cruel Celebrant, making traditional board wipes dangerous. The deck closes games around Turn 7 through overwhelming combat damage buffed by Edgar's attack trigger or direct life drain. While highly resilient against targeted removal, it relies on timely protection like Teferi's Protection against non-destruction sweepers.
