Deck overview

This deck is a Simic +1/+1 counters and big-mana midrange build helmed by Berta, Wise Extrapolator. The game plan revolves around accelerating mana early with efficient two-mana ramp spells and dorks, then establishing Berta alongside counter multipliers such as Hardened Scales, Loading Zone, and Kami of Whispered Hopes. By casting high-mana and X-spells, the deck continuously triggers Berta's Increment ability, generating mana refunds and creating massive Fractal tokens. Lethality is achieved either through overwhelming trampling combat damage amplified by Tanazir Quandrix and Duskshell Crawler, or by assembling infinite mana combos like Kami of Whispered Hopes with Vigean Graftmage or Lilysplash Mentor with Peregrine Drake to draw out the library and win via Stroke of Genius, Brain Freeze, or Simic Ascendancy. Efficient protection spells shield key engines as the deck scales into a decisive win.
