Deck overview

This deck is an optimized Grixis artifact cheat and attrition strategy helmed by Dr. Eggman. The primary plan accelerates into an early Dr. Eggman on Turn 2–3 using format-ceiling mana rocks like Mox Diamond, Mana Vault, and Mishra's Workshop. Once deployed, Eggman forces opponents into a punishing villainous choice on every end step: discard a card or let you put massive Constructs, Robots, and Vehicles into play for free. Supported by enablers such as Goblin Welder, Master Transmuter, and Transmute Artifact, the deck cheats game-warping threats including Portal to Phyrexia, Krang, Utrom Warlord, and Reaver Titan by Turn 4. Opponents suffer severe resource loss through repeated discards and edicts while an army of indestructible artifact creatures and Tezzeret, Master of the Bridge life drain close the game on Turn 6. Free counterspells, Defense Grid, and Shadow the Hedgehog's Split Second protect critical development windows.
