Deck overview

This deck is a Sultai Elf tribal and graveyard combo deck led by Thranduil, the Elvenking. The primary game plan accelerates early mana with low-cost Elf druids, fills the graveyard with key creatures using cards like Buried Alive, and deploys Thranduil to inherit their activated abilities. By combining the untap mechanic of Devoted Druid with power-boosting abilities from Greenhilt Trainee or Timberwatch Elf, Thranduil generates infinite mana and arbitrarily large power and toughness. It closes the game on the spot by copying Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord to sacrifice a pumped creature and drain the entire table.
