Deck overview

This is not a Faerie-tribal Oona, Queen of the Fae deck; it is a Dimir draw-go control/combo shell that uses Oona as the payoff for an infinite-mana finish. The primary plan is to disrupt the table with nineteen counterspells, accumulate cards through tax engines and cheap selection, then tutor into one of two redundant infinite-mana engines: Peregrine Drake with Deadeye Navigator, or Peregrine Drake with Archaeomancer and a flicker spell such as Ghostly Flicker or Displace. Once infinite mana is online, Oona exiles each opponent's library, with Blue Sun's Zenith acting as an immediate single-target decking option. A kicked Rite of Replication on Gray Merchant of Asphodel provides a backup one-shot table kill. The 99 contains all of the engine pieces, so the commander is held back until the actual kill turn.
