Deck overview

This mono-black artifact deck is commanded by Imotekh the Stormlord and focuses on self-mill, graveyard recursion, and go-wide artifact token swarms. The primary plan uses efficient mana rocks and self-mill pieces like Out of the Tombs to load the graveyard with artifact creatures. Once Imotekh enters the battlefield, recurring or unearthing artifacts generates pairs of 2/2 Necron Warrior tokens. The deck escalates this advantage into a decisive turn 6 onset through mass reanimation spells like Living Death or top-end lords like Krang, Utrom Warlord. Without reliant infinite combos or fast generic tutors, victory is achieved through wide combat attacks buffed with menace and trample, accompanied by life-drain triggers from Pactdoll Terror. The list carries solid resilience against board wipes thanks to abundant reanimation spells, but remains vulnerable to targeted graveyard exile and dedicated artifact sweepers.
