Deck overview

This is a Grixis amass / Ring-tempt midrange deck built around Sauron, the Dark Lord. The plan is to deploy amass enablers such as Saruman, the White Hand, grow a 0/0 Orc Army into a board-dominating threat, and use Sauron's Ring-tempt trigger to discard and draw four, chaining instants and sorceries into Lord of the Nazgul Wraiths, Guttersnipe pings, and Fiery Inscription damage. The deck also has a meaningful reanimation subtheme via Reanimate, Living Death, Extract from Darkness, and Too Greedily, Too Deep. The primary win condition is combat: a large Army, evasive Dragons, the 9/9 Sauron, Lord of the Rings, and Scourge of the Throne extra combats. There are no infinite combos; the deck wins through value, recursion, and bursty combat turns.
