Deck overview

This deck is a Simic blink and stun-control midrange deck commanded by Omega, Heartless Evolution. The game plan revolves around accelerating mana using land-search spells and landfall engines, developing a dense manabase composed almost entirely of nonbasic lands. On Turn 5, the deck casts Omega to trigger its Wave Cannon ability, tapping down the most threatening nonland permanent each opponent controls and burying them beneath five or more stun counters while padding the life total. From Turn 6 onward, the deck compounds this advantage through recurring blink engines such as Thassa, Deep-Dwelling, Conjurer's Closet, and Displacer Kitten, or through cloning effects like Auton Soldier and Blade of Selves. Pairing Omega with Fear of Sleep Paralysis permanently immobilizes opposing commanders and key nonland engines. The deck converts this total board suppression into victory by overwhelming neutralized opponents with massive combat damage from Omega copies, Craterhoof Behemoth, or direct life-drain from Aetherflux Reservoir by Turn 8.
