Deck overview

This Grixis deck uses Goro-Goro and Satoru to execute a hyper-efficient aggro-tempo strategy. By curving 1-mana unblockable creatures like Slither Blade and Mist-Cloaked Herald into early Ninjutsu and Sneak threats, the deck repeatedly triggers the commander's ability to generate 5/5 flying Dragon Spirit tokens as early as Turn 4. The deck converts combat connections into overwhelming resource velocity through a dense suite of combat draw engines like Coastal Piracy, Enduring Curiosity, and Ingenious Infiltrator. With an army of 5/5 flyers rapidly accumulating, the deck closes out multiplayer pods on Turn 7 through overwhelming aerial damage and decisive extra-combat effects such as Overpowering Attack, Breath of Fury, and Great Train Heist. While fragile against timely board wipes, its low mana curve and deep redundancy ensure rapid engine assembly.
