EDH GB Squirrels 17.08.26 by nnm

Format: Commander

Commander: Chatterfang, Squirrel General

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Chatterfang, Squirrel General anchors a Golgari token-sacrifice deck. His replacement effect doubles every token created, which fuels two paths: an aristocrats drain combo (Blood Artist, Nadier's Nightblade, Arnyn) and a wide Squirrel army that can close with Coat of Arms or Root Manipulation. The primary plan is to assemble the Chatterfang + Warren Soultrader + Pitiless Plunderer loop, sacrificing one creature to net both a Treasure and an extra Squirrel while draining the table. Secondary plan is combat with doubled Squirrels, using Chatterfang's -X/-X ability to clear blockers. There is no double-faced commander and no hidden commander; Eladamri, Korvecdal is a support creature that can cheat missing pieces into play.
