THE MIGHTY THOR by user2015206

Format: Commander

Commander: Thor, God of Thunder

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This mono-red deck is built around Thor, God of Thunder, turning every noncreature spell into a burn trigger. The primary line is to ramp into Thor, multiply his triggered damage with Fiery Emancipation, City on Fire, and Mjolnir, Hammer of Thor, then chain instants, sorceries, and equipment to burn opponents out. A secondary plan uses equipment voltron on Thor, Neheb, or Etali, while artifact recursion from Daretti and Goblin Welder reuses key pieces. Thor, Guardian of Midgard acts as a hidden second copy by exiling cards off noncombat damage. The deck is explosive but commander-dependent: if Thor is kept off the board, most noncreature spells lose their damage-dealing trigger and the deck slows considerably.
