Yusri Gambling by Fallcat

Format: Commander

Commander: Yusri, Fortune's Flame

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This Izzet deck leans heavily into coin-flip mechanics, with Yusri, Fortune's Flame serving as its primary engine. The plan is to suit Yusri up with Lightning Greaves, attack, and flip multiple coins each combat to draw into card advantage and eventually cast spells for free if five flips are won. The deck layers several distinct win conditions: Niv-Mizzet, Parun + Curiosity creates an infinite damage loop; Chance Encounter offers an alternate victory once ten luck counters are accumulated; Goblin Bomb provides a direct burn finish; and extra-turn spells like Stitch in Time and Ral Zarek chain extra combats or turns to push through damage. Multiple coin-flip synergies (Krark's Thumb, Zndrsplt, Eye of Wisdom, Okaun, Eye of Chaos) generate huge card flow and board presence, while a dense countermagic suite protects the win attempts. The deck is explosive but variance-prone, leaning on its commander for sustained advantage.
